This incident, of course, only prompted me to actually back up my files onto my hard drive. ::terribly lazy, but now terribly terrified::

Oh man, I'd be on oxygen too. I'm glad you didn't lose everything! I obsessively back up everything now, but it helps that my husband is a total computer nerd and makes it pretty easy on me to do so.
