Dan meets CW for the first time.

Dan was 18. Before he learned the ghostly wail. Before the whole time travel fiasco. Before everything which happened to ruin his life for a third time.
Dan had met Clockwork.

Once, Dan had made the mistake of eating his own cooking. His stomach ended up hating him and his mind had been cloudy for several days afterward.
It was during one of those days that Dan could’ve sworn that someone had given him some medicine, had comforted him, and had stayed with him until he became lucid again.
But… who would care enough about him to do that?
Only the ticks of the clocks in his room answered.

Dan hated Clockwork. That was a fact of un-life.
But there were times when the Time Master lowered Dan’s defenses. Only by just a little bit, but enough that Clockwork surely knew it.
One of those times was when Dan was sent out on an errand and had found a little kitten.

This narrative is about rebirth. It starts in a library with someone who lives in a cave. The antagonist is a caring mentor and the plot involves elements like love from afar and kneeling in solitary prayer.
Can anyone say Clockwork/Dan?

Apr. 22nd, 2007 01:51 pmI understand that lately you and my Clockwork/Dan!Muse have been conspiring against me, to try and either make my Dan/Danny ficlets into a Clocky/Dan fic, or at least make me write a drabble focusing on CD. And I'm perfectly fine with the latter. In fact, I'm probably going to write CD soon anyway, so it's no problem.
However, that's not what I want right now. I was wondering if you could talk to your counterpart please? He's been annoying me so much lately that I can hardly stand it. It's always "ooh draw me!" "nonono you shouldn't draw that! Draw me!" and so on.
I would greatly appreciate it. So much, perhaps, that I will finally get around to writing CD? :)
