IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT IT JUST STARTED.

There was a bat in my house! :DDDDDDDD

My poor mother. She was subjected to the stereotypical "AAAAAAAAAAH THERE'S A BAT IN MY HAIR GETTITOUTGETITOUT!"

So I got it out. Tiny thing, smaller than the size of my palm, absolutely terrified, kept trying to bite me. I managed to get it out the front door, thank goodness.

Of course, I drenched my hands in Hydrogen Peroxide right afterward because I was freaking too much over my mom's screeching to think about getting, you know, a towel or a dirty t-shirt, but that's just the details. e.e

...I'm going to do it again just as soon as my hands stop burning from the hot water, of course. Just to make sure there's no sting.

But honestly, I think it was a little too small and too panicked to bite me really.

OMG it was so cool.

I love bats, but they are one of the major carriers of rabies. @_@; I hope you'll be all right.

But yeah, they are known to carry rabbies. D8
Hope you're all all right.

Reminds me of the time we had an itty bitty chipmunk (I think that's what it was XD;;; ) come down our chimney. That thing was fast!

Me, too. :<

A chipmunk? How cute! How long did it take you to get rid of it?

Yes, a chipmunk!
At least, it was small and brown. So definitely not a squirrel.

It was fast, but we caught it in a matter of minutes. It shot out of the fireplace as soon as we opened the doors, darted into the kitchen, and climbed up a chair. Then my parents caught it.

At least it wasn't as stupid as the bird that came down the chimney twice. We got the bird out of the chimney and let it go outside. It was back in the chimney the next day. @__@;;;
